D. Bommi Bommannan, PhD, JD
Bommi Bommannan is a dedicated champion of child education, committed to empowering underprivileged children and uplifting communities through learning. His deep belief in the transformative power of education has brightened the lives of countless children and families, opening doors to opportunities that help break barriers and shape brighter futures.
With extensive expertise in leadership, innovation, and intellectual property, Bommi brings a unique perspective to his mission. In 2004, he founded MaxVal Group with a vision of assisting companies in optimizing patent lifecycle management and intellectual property software and services. Before this, Bommi co-founded and served as CEO of NTERO Surgical, Inc., a medical device company. Under his guidance, MaxVal has developed a robust global team committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective patent management solutions.
An inventor with over 20 patents and more than 50 scientific publications, Bommi understands firsthand the power of knowledge to transform lives. His diverse journey, spanning research roles at Merck and Cygnus to earning degrees from Stanford Law School, UC Berkeley, and IIT Kanpur, fuels his unwavering commitment to expanding educational access.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bommi’s true passion lies in making a difference.
